About the Event

All cadets in year 10-13 (from September) are invited to attend our October half term camp. Cadets must have completed their weapon handling training, and will be required to pass their weapon handling test prior to attending camp.

Cadets will spend the weekend predominately in the field, conducting fieldcraft exercises, including blank firing.

When booking a ticket, please complete year group details for the year group you will be in from September. The camp tends to be oversubscribed each year so please book as early as possible if you intend to come.

Those who qualify for pupil premium are able to book using the coupon code previously issued. If you have misplaced that, please contact us directly as soon as possible.

Please read the terms of conditions below. No refunds will be issued so please only book a place if you are committed to attending. Cadets must also be able to attend the full trip.

Terms of Booking

We regard payment of the camp fee as a firm commitment to attend camp and will not routinely offer refunds, except in cases of obvious emergency, such as illness.  We have many cadets applying for a limited number of places, and in the past have had withdrawals because cadets and/or parents have changed their minds, have subsequently booked other engagements, or decided that exam revision has become too urgent. None of these merit refunds. Additionally, the CCF commits to the costs of much of the activities up front and there is no recourse for refunds for those costs incurred.  We would urge parents and cadets to think carefully before applying for  a place on camp.

Cadets and parents are also acknowledging by applying that they are physically fit to undertake the full demands of camp and that they will inform us if there are health issues which arise subsequent to an application.  Failure to do this may result in future camp applications being rejected, as we have to be able to run camps on the basis of full information about cadets' health being provided.
