For camp tomorrow, all SGS cadets need to be at school for 16:00. All Nonsuch cadets need to get to SGS ASAP, where they can then change out of school uniform and into normal civilian clothing for the journey. October Camp The briefing for October camp will be held immediately after parade this week for all cadets on camp. Attendance is absolutely compulsory. A kit list will be given out in the briefing, along with a preliminary kit list, which will be attached below. All items on the list are essential

Parade next week will run as usual. Kit should be perfect, including bun nets for girls and hair cut correctly for boys. Parade is planned to start at 1610, so all companies need to form up ready at 1605, without orders from senior cadets. Parade Absences So far this year, the majority of people not attending parade have not submitted absence forms and have been marked with unauthorised absences. From now on, cadets with three unauthorised absences will be removed from camps.

Year 9 can now book a place on Recruit Camp in November by following the link to the camp bookings page Places are limited so please book early.

The applications for the Recruit Camp will actualy not open until tomorrow evening (Wednesday), not this evening as indicated at parade. The applications will be for Year 9s only, not Year 13s or 11s who will have a separate application procedure.

Welcome back. Tuesday 22nd is our first parade back. Form up will be at 1610. New sections and companies are listed on the noticeboards at both schools and will be attached to this post. Year 10 -13 cadets are invited to apply for October camp on the camp bookings page. The camp tends to be oversubscribed so we are inviting all cadets to apply if they wish to attend. We will then contact those that have secure a place and request payment. Deadline for applications is 22 September at 1800hrs. Please note that to attend you must have previously completed your Skill At Arms training and will be require to complete another Weapon Handling Test prior to the camp.

Current year 12s should be aware that we have opened applications for next summer's Lower Sixth Leadership weekend (27-31 August 2027). You can find details on the Camp booking page. Please review this letter here which sets out the application process. The deadline for applying, and payment of a £200 deposit, is 25 September 2026. This camp is exclusively for current year 12s.
