On Thursday 12th March after school there will be an Army vs RAF football match, where the best of both sections will go to war on the pitch for the CCF football trophy. The match will be held at the SGS sports fields at Northey Avenue . Spectators are welcome. Players will be selected based off ability, year group, position and behaviour on parades and camp. The final week of term will be one of competition - the annual Christmas Parade. There will not be lessons, rather a set of stands for you and your section. Form up as normal at the beginning of parade and you will be dismissed in sections. As we have a lot to get through, it is especially important you are not late. The sections are attached below. Cadets should be aware that, although other after school activities are cancelled tomorrow, CCF will still be on as normal.

The correct kit includes having presentable hair and headdress. Berets should sit neatly on the head, cap badge over the left eye and be moulded. Hair should not protrude from the front of the beret, nor touch the collar at the back. These rules apply to all cadets. Facial hair should be clean shaven with no sideburns past the ears. Year 9 s were recently issued their kit. On some of the MTP that was ordered there are patches for divisions or sections of the military that we are not part of. These need to be removed. The only patches should be the British flag and the SGS CCF rectangular patch. Anyone on October camp: Some kit remains missing from camp. Namely: Ear defenders, Mess tins, Water Bottles and Mugs.
