National Air & Space Camp
National Air & Space Camp is a flagship training camp, hosted by 2FTS at RAF Syerston. It adopts the ASTRA strategy and focuses on delivering specialist aviation, space, engineering and cyber training and experiences. The event will build on the success of previous years and benefit from strong collaboration with RAF stations and industry partners. As in previous years, there will also be an industry day.
The camp will be hosted at RAF Syerston, Nottinghamshire, from Sunday 20 August until Sunday 26 August. Transport will be provided from locations to be determined.
Cadets must be 14+ to attend, as of the camp dates. Eligible cadets should not have previously attended an Air & Space Camp. Cadets wishing to attend should have an active interest in aerospace, aviation and/or engineering, and be considering a career in one of those fields. Ideally, cadets should also be fit to fly, as there may be opportunities to fly or glide, although this cannot be guaranteed.
The cost of the camp will be £80, to be paid in due course.
