This week will be our remembrance parade.

Parade lessons will run as normal, and after dismissal, cadets will form up for the remembrance service, which is absolutely compulsory. All cadets must wear ironed uniform and have poppies worn on their smocks. You are also expected to wear poppies on your school uniform on Monday and Wednesday.

RAF cadets in years 11, 12, and 13 should come in their dress blues, ironed, and with poppies pinned on jumpers (not yr10 as previously stated). Year 9 RAF cadets will wear MTP kit as usual.

This week, all cadets will start their new rotations. A timetable for the following weeks is below. Sections will stay in their rooms listed on the timetable. Year nine cadets doing PT must wear MTP kit rather than PE kit this week for the remembrance parade.

If you are ill on Tuesday, you must fill in the absence form on this website.

Applications for our Febuary Camp and the Pennines Expedition remain open so any cadets planning to attend should book places immediately.

Year 9 Recuits' Camp

After our remembrance parade this week, we will hold a short briefing for the cadets attending the approaching Recruits' camp. All those attending will have been sent confirmation emails. Attendance at the briefing is essential. Please inform your parents that you will be leaving later than usual, likely around 1800. We will cover all information regarding the camp, including travel times and details. If you are absent on Tuesday and do not attend, please email me.

As I mention every week, direct kit enquiries to the quartermaster at reinhartbarua@suttongrammar.school. SGS cadets who continue to come to stores without emailing will continue to be turned away uniformly.

If you have other (non-kit-related) questions, please feel free to email me at oscarmiller@suttongrammar.school. If I miss your email, go talk to a year thirteen, and they'll be happy to remind me.
