These are the key final points to take on board before leaving for camp on Saturday morning: Arrive at school for 0700 for a 0730 departure. If you are late, contact a member of your section so your whereabouts are known. Arrive at school in civvies. Bring a packed lunch or money for food, which can be used at a service station. Applications for summer camp are now open on the camp bookings page. Please note that applications are open until 24 March 2025. We will contact you thereafter (and blog when we are sending out notification) to confirm whether you have been allocated a place. Payment for the trip will be £350 which will be requested when places are allocated.

Two different points of information: The CCF summer camp will take place in the last week of the school term, 12th to 19th July. Whilst we have not yet opened up applications, we thought it would be helpful to confirm the dates. The camp will be at Otterburn, as last year. This is normally over-subscribed, so we obviously cannot guarantee places for everyone, but will outline an application procedure when we are ready to open these up. The.coaches left Leicester at 1440 and we currently expe t cadets to be free to be collected between 1830 and 1845. Any changes will be advised. There are no changes as at 1720.

All cadets on main camp need to have the Coasteering event Consent Form completed and appropriately signed. These should then be brought with you on Saturday morning, departure day, to be handed to a member of the officer team. The form is here.

All cadets attending Summer Camp, including all those on exam leave, must attend the pre-camp briefing on 11 June 2024 at Sutton Grammar. The briefing will commence at 1730. Those cadets who still need to complete their Weapon Handling Test should attend at 1600 (please see earlier Blog Post for list of names). A kit list and briefing note can be found here.
