All, Tuesday 9th June (Next Tuesday) will be the date for camp briefings for the following camps: Year 10 Leadership Camp: 16:00 - 16:30 Lower 6th Leadership Camp (Aviemore): 16:30 - 17:00 Summer Main Camp Briefing will be on the 30th June. This will follow the Main Camp Briefing which starts around 4pm. So the Aviemore Briefing should begin around 4.45pm. Cadets do not need to be in kit for either of these briefings; only those taking the pre-camp WHTs (to follow the Main Camp Briefing) need to be in kit.

Due to Nonsuch Work Experience next week, we will now hold the Aviemore Briefing on Tuesday week, 1st. JULY. 4pm at SGS.

Please note the above - the briefing will be at Sutton Grammar School in Rm 46 and should last around 40 minutes. We would like all cadets going on this trip to be present for this. You are not expected to be in cadet uniform.

Can I ask all L6th Aviemore applicants to bring their passport details (that is, Date of Birth and name as on passport; we do not need anything else) with them tomorrow - we do not need the actual passport, so long as you have your details to hand. This is in order to ready the plane ticket purchase as soon as the officers have agreed the final attendance list. Those L6th cadets going on the Aviemore trip need to attend the pre-trip briefing tomorrow at SGS as advised previously. It will be in Rm 46 at 4.30pm. You are not required to be in uniform. It should last 30 minutes.

We are now asking L6th cadets attending the Aviemore Weekend to apply for positions in the CCF for next year. Please see this letter for details.

All L6th cadets going on August's Aviemore trip need to do the Basic Swimming Test tomorrow at parade time. This will be conducted at Sutton Grammar's pool, and start at 4.10pm. The swimming test for those L6th cadets going on Aviemore is next week (18th). This week the only parade activity is the Briefing for the Year 10 Weekend, involving the Y10 cadets and Y12 cadets on that weekend (see earlier post)

Due to the nature of one of our adventurous activities at Aviemore (Canyoning) cadets have to complete a swim test. These are going to be conducted at SGS on the last Tuesday of term (18th. July) after school. The swim test will be followed by an Aviemore briefing. both of these are compulsory for cadets going on Aviemore. More details about the test will follow.
