Each year SGS CCF takes its aspiring leaders to a remote venue in the UK to build them as a leadership team in readiness for their final CCF year and to assess and appoint individuals to leadership positions.
With a mix of challenging pursuits and entertaining activities, this long weekend over the dates of 28th August 2026 to 1st September 2026 has long-established itself as a key highlight of the cadet experience.
This is a complex trip to organise, and the format depends strongly on numbers attending. We therefore need to know by 10th October whether you intend to join us.
To secure your place you need to register using this link and pay a 50% non-returnable deposit* of £225 and fill in all the relevant details. Please pay particular attention when entering your name; DOB; passport number and passport expiry date. These should be exactly as they appear in your passport.
*deposits can be refunded where it is possible to fill the cadet space caused by an individual cancellation.
Our aim is to go to Aviemore in Scotland, but we have equally run the event in both North Wales and the Yorkshire Dales - final details will be confirmed once numbers are known.
Whilst attendance is not mandatory - you will not be appointed to a leadership role without attending.
No man is an island.
