New Recruits Training Days (Year 9)

We are please to open registrations for some New Recruits training days being run at SGS' sports ground on 18 and 19 July for current year 9 cadets at SGS and Nonsuch.

Whilst we normally run this trip on an army base in Folkestone, we plan to replicate most of that weekend at Northey Avenue. This is open to all year 9 cadets at SGS and Nonsuch and will provide an opportunity for more consolidated training - and much needed catch up on the time missed this last academic year.

Nonsuch students will have finished school the previous Friday. SGS cadets have been given permission by the headmaster to attend the second day of these 2 training days instead of school.

Cadets will need to be dropped and collected (or travel independently) each day. Specific timings, and arrangements, will be shared nearer the time. But please register for the event now by signing up here. Deadline for registrations will be the end of May 2021.

We encourage all cadets to attend this training which we intend to be an enjoyable introduction to cadets,

focused on practical skills and team building.
