Summer Camp Dates and Tuesday Parade Notice

Two different points of information:

1. The CCF summer camp will take place in the last week of the school term, 12th to 19th July. Whilst we have not yet opened up applications, we thought it would be helpful to confirm the dates. The camp will be at Otterburn, as last year. This is normally over-subscribed, so we obviously cannot guarantee places for everyone, but will outline an application procedure when we are ready to open these up.

   
   

2. There is a pre-camp briefing for all cadets going to Feb Camp after Tuesday's parade. Please note that this will mean a later departure for cadets at that briefing, around 6.15pm.

   
   

3. Weapon Handling Tests for the remaining cadets (see list in earlier post) will be conducted during the parade, so those cadets will be out of normal lessons this week. It is difficult to provide a definite end time for WHTs as we obviously want all cadets to pass, so it may be that some of these tests have to resume after the briefing, which will mean a later finish for some cadets. We would ask that all cadets keep parents updated about timings during the parade if they are affected by this.
