The wait is finally over. Tonight, we are releasing tickets for one of the most anticipated events in the Sutton Grammar CCF calendar: The Pennines Expedition.
For many cadets, this expedition defines their time in the contingent. It is more than just a trip; it is a test of character, resilience, and teamwork set against the stunning backdrop of the English countryside.
What is the Pennines Expedition?
This is a week of self-sufficiency and adventure. Cadets will trek through the rugged terrain of the Pennines, navigating routes of approximately 20km per day in small groups alongside officers.
You will carry everything you need on your back: your tent, your clothes, and your food. While that sounds daunting, you do not need to be an elite marathon runner to succeed here. If you have a good base level of fitness and, more importantly, a resilient attitude, this challenge is well within your reach.
Ticket Information - The Pennines Expedition
As with all our major trips, the ticket price is all-inclusive. It covers transport, food, accommodation fees, and all activities.
Ticket Release: Tonight (28th Nov 2025) at 19:00 (7 PM).
Ticket Deadline: Tuesday 16th December at 23:59.

Reminder: February Competition Camp
While we look ahead to the Pennines, we have a major deadline approaching for our flagship February Competition Camp.
The deadline to purchase tickets is strictly the 2nd of December.
There are still tickets available, but please note that we cannot accept any late entries once the deadline passes. This camp is the ultimate test of your military skills. Working in sections of 10-12, you will go head-to-head with other teams to see who has what it takes to lift the prestigious Ken Russell Shield.
